I have a 3+ pound chuck roast in the freezer and I was wondering if it would be a good candidate for the WSM. If so, just flop it on the cooking grate and let it go? I'd like to shred it for tacos.

Also, where is the BBQ Search Engine? The Hawgeyes ad banner at the top is almost all I see up there.

Yep, chuck makes great pulled beef. I smoked a 2.5 lb. chuck roast on my WSM last week as a test and it turned out great. Just cook it like a pork butt. I used a beef/brisket rub, but I did it for pulled beef BBQ. For pulled beef for tacos you probably want to season appropriately. Enjoy!
